Napier and Hastings

Napier was next, and we had recommendations from the smiths that the local marine rescue centre was the place to visit. Oh what fun and frolics!!! I held a penguin!!! We saw a dolphin jump through the obligatory hoops, and watched some seals stuff their faces. Plus we had a macaw ask us to give it a scratch. “Have a scratch. Have a scratch . Go on then!”
We certainly did have a scratch, I can tell you!!!!

Stayed in a car park first night, second night found a great free campervan park on a beach, we loved it here.

Wine, wine, wine, cheese, cheese, cheese !!!!! YUM YUM YUM, This is Hastings, New Zealand style!
