Wentzell's Birthday

You all know by now that I did a skydive with Em of the day in question. Later that day went on for some drinks and a lovely big lunch followed by the obligatory birthday drinks. Loads people turned up, had a great laugh and got drunk. If a picture says a 1000 words then here’s ten thousand or more!

Went to a fancy dress party, the theme ‘anything goes but clothes’. We all decided to make the effort.

Sushi AGAIN!!!!! Even we are getting a little fed up even if we can make sh!te hot stuff!!........I made that!!! i still cant belive i finally no how to make sushi.... yes the ridiculously expensive rice things that you only ever seem to get in posh resturants!!!

MTV Snow Jam

What a wicked event to go to. MTV put on a boarding and skiing competition event with live music and beer all thrown in!!















The SnowPark was the location, a resort on the opposite side of the Valley to Cardrona. Basically a freestylers heaven. All it has is rails, kickers, jumps, boxes, pipes and one chair lift in the middle to the top. You’d love it Danny!!






The jump is just behind the stage with someone flipping every 30 secs or so.

Snowboarding

The Season here on the whole has been great apart from the lack of snow, size of terrain and too much work. Alright that sounds like a lot of important bad points, but whilst up the mountain we had a great time.

Cardrona was the resort we had passes for and you cannot but use all what is offer as it is a small resort on European standards but they make the most of it there.
Luckily for us Em worked at a shop which provides transport up the mountain (usually $20 return) which we got free, free equipment hire and Em’s season pass had a $1000 off. Nice!

She was stuck like that for hours.

The board park was huge, with loads of jumps, kickers, boxes and rails, so loads of fun along with boarder Cross. Most of the runs were pretty short but you could get a lot in during the day.
We mainly boarded with our chums Briony and Robin. Had many a great laugh. Excitingly got to ride with Emily Brayley. Swapped skis (Emerloy’s) for board (mine). I can still ski, to a point, em had trouble on the board. Swapped back before the end of one run.

The season for us really only got going near the end. We finally got to go more as we took time off, the snow was better in the early Spring and Em really caught the bug. Shame it had to stop as the snow on the final day the resort was open was the best and after it didn’t stop snowing for 2 weeks.
























So until we next get to Europe shall the snow and Us meet again.
