Moving On
Well the time has come, we are flying the nest of the wonderfull scorching sunny beaches of koh phangan, and heading south to Malaysia.
Our journey consists of leaving around 4pm, taxi, then boat, then a coach then a train at 1 am tomorrow morning, which we will not get off until 1 pm the same day.
We have decided to visit a place called The Cameron Highlands in Malaysia, before we set onto Sumatra of Indonesia, as we wanted to see a little of Malaysia's countryside and its not very far down the Penisula.
There will be some nice walks to do in the highlands and the wheather is a lot cooler also, which will be a welcome change to the couple of sweatbags that are the authors of this blog.
There is also, as it reads in the Lonley Planet Guide, a cheap 18 hole golf course, which by the choice of jamie we will be going to be visiting for a couple of laughs.
After only a couple of days we will be going back up to the little island of Penang to catch a boat to Sumatra, where we will be heading straight for the volcanic area called Lake Toba to do some more trecking.
On another note, we have been smoke free now for almost 11 weeks which we have only just realised, and we both have promised eachother to be strict on what we are eating from now on, as we both want to be prepared for the onslaught of snowboarding coming up. We are going to be health freaks for a little while and do lots of trecking and excersise, to get those all important thigh muscles working.
Well im sighning off now to get myself prepared for a long journey. bye bye , chook x
